Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Established in September in 1875, Brewarrina Central School has a long and proud tradition of educating the children of Brewarrina and district from Kindergarten to year 12. Past students have filled a range of roles across and beyond our community. Many have pursued academic pathways and now work as doctors, specialists, leaders, across all trades and professions. This trend continues with current secondary students articulating a wide range of aspirational pathways from formal schooling.
Future focussed and, culturally responsive, we work closely with our local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group to ensure that student, parents and community voice has a valued contribution in the school.
Across all years, we have a strong inclusive approach to opportunity and participation in a wide range of areas that develop the whole child across the years of schooling.
Our school staff are joined by CLONTARF, NSACA and REDI staff to deliver a range of programs for students to support culture, language, pathways aspirations and wellbeing.
Brewarrina Central School values Safe, Respectful Learners.
If you are looking at enrolling your child or working with our great team of teachers and support staff, we invite you to contact us.
