General Comment: Week 9: We hope you all had an enjoyable Easter break!
The Academy was full of action in the short week with huge numbers on show at all the training sessions. The junior Academy fellas have been showing up in droves to get involved. We also welcomed our new Regional Manager Brenden Petterson in his first visit to the western Academies and he was greeted with smiles and handshakes as always.
It was wonderful to see some of the work produced this Term in the classroom. The quality of some of the art was outstanding and we would like to thank the Teaching and Support Staff who were involved in this process. I have attached some of the photos of the works.
Tuesday we were visited by Doug Gordon who spoke to the fellas about the employment opportunities in the health field. It was really great to have someone the fellas are familiar with share his story and ambitions within his chosen work field.
Wednesday Charlie and the junior crew enjoyed a day out at Narran Lake with the Yarning Circle and had a very valuable cultural experience.
