New Teaching Staff at Brewarrina Central School

Our exciting start to the year was partly due to the enthusiastic new teachers who have arrived.
Three are permanent teachers. Mitchell Beames (Yr. 5/6) and Andrew Smyth ( Primary Focus Learning class) have come from Newcastle and the Central Coast. Both are Rugby players and will be part of our sporting program. Alice Walters is our new Special Education teacher in the secondary. She will be teaching the Year 9 Big Picture class and supporting all students with learning. She has come from Tennant Creek.
Trish Cuelen, from south of Sydney, is working as Learning and Support Teacher in the primary school, developing personal plans for students. Chantelle Dove is from Bathurst via Wilcannia. She and Erin Faricy, from Wollongong, are doing rural area relief. Erin is also running our infants swimming program.
The staffroom has a very happy buzz as the new staff settle in with our wonderful team.
